We are so impressed with the liberty Hill foundation we have been serving our community for over 17 years now and we have apply for several grants with local community foundations and not one of them helped us until we found the Liberty Hill Foundation. They did more than just help us with grant funding they made us feel like we will part of their family! Not only did they attend our event they helped us step-by-step along the way. Their staff was friendly and generally cares about our community and our organization. They didn't close the door with just grant funding they also have given us valuable advice on growing our organization and providing more leadership in our community.
Their grant had very big impact on us this grant allows us to host two events, help us better inform our community on their rights. The forum impacted the issues we where addressing by increased community awareness, understanding, bringing people together through learning groups and networking with attorneys. The forum helped to make a difference around the racial profiling by acted as a catalyst for community change, civic action and readiness by offering support, guidance and training to educating and informing residents about their legal rights, and how they should respond when they are confronted by L.A. County Sheriffs’. The you Liberty Hill Foundation and staff.
