Review for Jewish Voice Ministries International, Phoenix, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I left a review of Jewish Voice Ministries in August of 2011. The review was not a favorable one and I would like to amend that review at this time. I had an issue with an item I had ordered and experienced a delay in receiving my item and was not very well informed by the telephone staff, I did receive my Shofar and stand and they are both beautiful and of quality! Recently in January 2012 I received a package from JVM, inside was a larger Shofar than the one I ordered and a personal letter from the Director Of Public Relations Bill Mustard with his sincere apologies for both the delay in my order and how some staff had handled the problem! I am not amending this review because of the larger Shofar I received, but because in my frustration I believe that my review of JVM was far to harsh and because of Mr. Mustards kind words, Genesis 12:3 blessing, and his own faith in JVM. JVM gives tens of thousands of Jewish people medical and spiritual help. I will continue to support JVM as a partner and continue to watch their broadcast! My sincere apologies to JVM for my harsh past review! Thank you Mr Mustard for addressing my concern in such a kind and compassionate manner!

After watching The Jewish Voice on TBN I was moved by the health care crisis in Ethiopia. Jonathan Bernis was offering a shofar for I believe $50.00. I wanted both to help the cause and the shofar. I called Jewish Voice to place my order and was told for $25 more I could get the stand.. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to arrive I put $75.00 on my husbands M.C, and told the representative to send me info that I would like to donate monthly. This was in early April.. In June I called and was told I'd be receiving my order within a week the end of June I received a letter stating the stand was on back order but would be shipped out in a week.. in July I called and was told.. They didn't know what happened they would send it right away.. Early AUGUST.. I was one was available to talk to me.. I asked for a supervisor, I was told they're wasn't anyone in the products dept. well... he magically appeared and I was told pretty much.. the SAME thing I have been told! My husband believes this is a scam and wants to call MC and the federal Trade commission.. This is really hard to do since GOD/Jesus/starving people with no health care etc. are used as a sales pitch! I have e-mailed Mr. Bernis and haven't yet gotten a response. Lesson learned.. I will be donating my money to Joyce Meyers!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Do Not understand this...Not quite sure where the money goes! Festivals perhaps?

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Stop using the images of the impoverished to sell products you cannot deliver! I believe this is illegal!
