Review for Young At Heart Senior Pet Adoptions (Young at Heart Pet Rescue, Inc.), Woodstock, IL, USA
I volunteered weekly for a year at the Young at Hearts LZ Cat Center. Unfortunately I've had to rein back these responsibilities due to my busy work schedule, but I miss it all the time! Working with the cats in the LZ Cat Center has been such a joy. Every time another one gets adopted it makes you feel like you are doing something to help these babies that might not otherwise have had a chance, find forever homes!
Young at Heart has grown even since I learned of them, and they continue to have a community presence and make their name more well known. Their special dedication to senior pets has saved so many lives, and I'm so proud to be a small part of their organization!

when i volunteer and there is one less cat in the cat center because they have gone to their forever home, is ALWAYS a great feeling!

Try to organize a little better, though it has gotten siginificantly better since I began. I know scheduling and keeping in touch with all the volunteers is really difficult. Sometimes its hard to know who did what, when!
