Review for Mission4Maureen, South Euclid, OH, USA
I am a pediatric oncology social worker at a children's hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL. There are many days that parents of children with cancer ask for assistance to meet financial needs. Recently a mother of a 17 mo old boy just diagnosed with a brain tumor brought Mission4Maureen information to me that she had printed from the internet. She thought that maybe the foundation could help her if needed and help other families that come for treatment at the hospital. It turned out that she did need financial assistance because the demands of her child's illness, numerous hospital stays, mulitple operations and daily radiation treatment caused her to lose her job. She had to put her child's care first. It was so great to work with the Mission4Maureen foundation. The assistance that was provided to the family of the 17mo old child was phenomenal. The foundation was so easy to work with and they were able to assist to provide an emergent need. I have never worked with a foundation that was able to assist so quickly. They really made a difference in the life of this single mother so she could continue to care for her child. They also assisted a child whose parents could not afford her medication. I am so appreciative and I hope to continue to work with the foundation. Thank you Rosie, it is so great working with you. I hope you continue on the great work and help you are providing to many people. Thank you so much. Sincerely, Bernadette Brunetti, LCSW
