Review for Center For Great Apes, Wauchula, FL, USA
Volunteering at the Center for Great Apes has been an extreme pleasure. It was a very unique and engaging experience. All of the apes there are extremely loved and taken care of, not only by the staff members, but by volunteers and the community as well. The apes were always happy in their environments and loved the staff members dearly. I personally got to work along side these animals, and I discovered how magnificent they really are. This opened my eyes to many needs that these apes have, and what might have happened to them if the Center for Great Apes had not taken them into care. This is such an amazing place and I encourage anyone to visit if they get the chance.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my time spent with the apes. They are all very happy, very well taken care of, and very well loved. I read the stories on all of the apes at the center, and some of their backgrounds were very tragic. One of the apes at the center has cerebral palsy, and would most likely not be alive today had the center not taken him in.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
not change a thing. I think the center is doing an excellent job at maintaining and caring for these apes.
