Review for Young At Heart Senior Pet Adoptions (Young at Heart Pet Rescue, Inc.), Woodstock, IL, USA
Young at Heart helps a unique population Senior Pets! When most organizations, say, too old, they say, we'll find them a good home. As a volunteer, you can easily see your impact on the animals. They communicate very well so you know what's going on and who the money is helping and where they need extra help. I work with the kitties. I see how they come in scared and then how they get better as everyone works with them. They also post follow-up information on the animals that have found homes. It's a great feeling to see one of the animals you helped take care of in a happy home.
