Review for Hands Of Hope, Cupertino, CA, USA
I've been contributing financially to Hands of Hope for more than 3 years. They provide food, shelter and education to orphans in Zimbabwe. Administered through partnership with local churches in Zimbabwe they are able to rescue and provide for the most venerable members of society in a country which is extremely impoverished and suffering from AIDS.
Their services range from feeding projects which will provide one meal per day for up to 250 children to full time home placement which provides, food, clothing and shelter for typcially 13 childern per home.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Each month Hands of Hope publishes a news letter communicating the work they are doing with Orphans on the ground in Zimbabwe. The stories of infants and toddlers that are saved from the streets and provided for are heart wrenching and inspiring. My wife and I read these news letters to our children so they can learn the hardships others have elsewhere in the world and what good can be done through organizations like Hands Of Hope.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Enable some of the local church leadership supporting the day to day operations in Zimbabwe to come to the US for targeted training programs to further enhance their effectiveness.
