Review for Yosemite Ridge at Camp Wawona Inc, Fresno, CA, USA
When I found Yosemite Ridge at Camp Wawona, my son and I were very excited to attend a family camp for Camp Sierra. While my son had tons of fun with other children, the parents sat in classes learning about our children's asthma. It was very educational and informative. My son was hooked and he was invited to attend camp. I was a little worried until I found out that there was a complete, volunteer medical staff on sight. I left my son in their care and he had a blast. There were constant planned activities at all times. He had no time to miss me and become homesick. He wanted to go back the following year only I told him since the camp is free to all children, it was time to give back to what they have given us. I asked to be a volunteer and do whatever was asked of me. What an enjoyable I time I had! I got to witness just what all the fun alal of the campers were having. The camp ground itself is so very beautiful and great cabins. The dining room was very clean and the food was delicious. My son is hoping to be a camper again and I would love to volunteer again and my son hopes to be a volunteer when he is old enough. We love the camp and we also love Melanie, the camp director. She is doing a excellent job being the camp director.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
understanding and learning about the illness that my son has.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would want to the camp to last a couple more days longer.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
I love seeing the happiness in my child knowing that he is not alone with his illness. He had so much with other children with the same illness.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
wonderful, excited to be at the camp and very professional.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
allow more children to attend and attend every year.
Ways to make it better...
we could have stayed longer.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
not having enough money to run each camp every summer.
One thing I'd also say is that...
your child is so very safe at Yosemite Ridge at Camp Wawona and the happiness that you will see on their face will last a lifetime.
