Review for Wild Bills Sanctuary Inc, Porter, OK, USA
Wild Bill's Sanctuary is a non-profit organization, they are 501 C3 accredited (E-IN 26-2951144), holding licences with the USDA, USDI, and Oklahoma; as well as a degree in Wildlife Biology with over 45 years experience. their mission at Wild Bill's is education, continuation of endangered/threatened species, and to be a safe haven for any animal in need of a home full of peace, love and tranquility.
Education being a large priority for them, they strive to educate on each animal. This education includes the origon of the species, as well as where it can be found in the wild, the species lifestyle, diet, and day to day habits. They also discuss the current state of the animal and any conservation efforts that are currently underway.
Bill's is a donation only facility, which is staffed only by volunteers .Since they are closed to the public; this makes it more difficult to raise funds but they feel it is in the best interest of the animals here to live a daily life free from the frustrations of daily visitors. They pride themselves not only on the health and disposistion of each animal and believe it is a result of a stress free environment with proper nutrition and a variety of enrichment programs. Review for Big Cat Rescue, Corp., Odessa, FL, USA
Upon first checking into this facility (I was planning to volunteer) I was impressed with the facilities etc., However; I was totally put off by one large thing. I went to their 911 animal abuse site that they have up to let people know about Sanctuaries/Exotic owners who are breaking laws and mistreating their cats. I found many discrepencies on this site. One of the largest ones, was about Wild Bill's Sanctuary. There was a large post about how they had 5 tigers and 1 lion removed for lack of food (starving) and that they now had a white tiger...the story under the captions was about a place in florida. Bill's upon further investigation is in Oklahoma not florida and the names of the owners not correct etc. not to mention the poor establishment they are talking about has never had 5 tigers in the entirety of its existence. This brought to light BCR's desire to run a smear campaign against them it actually makes me question the validity of the stories on their site. I would never volunteer there. Liars.....you cant trust them.

how it likes to degrate other places to make their worth seem more than the others. When the truth is all sanctuaries and exotic owners should be working together.....last i checked it was about helping the animals not lining our pockets...right?

Remove all the false alligations about people and sanctuaries they are trying to wear down.
This person is not a visitor to the sanctuary, but rather appears to be just another animal abuser who supports the trade in tigers as pets. More than likely it is just another alias for the worst abusers that we are currently suing in federal court. GNP will not check IP addresses to remove these fake posters and their reviews, so that is why it really helps us to have people who have been here and know the good work we do to post their reviews.
