Review for Why You Initiative, Rochester, MN, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This is an amazing organization! I have experienced first hand the revolutionary approach to mentoring out youth. There individualized mentoring technique has reengineered the mentor-mentee relationship. Why You! is unique, innovative, and successful. My grandson would otherwise not have a mentor or access to professional opportunity and a national network of resources dedicated to his individual success were it not for Why You!

Here are some excepts form their website -

Why You! structure and strategy is built on the intentional fusion of technological, futuristic and traditional mechanisms. Why You! support youth through individualized mentoring, enduring relationship, and dedicated resources. Youth are prepared for an array of opportunities and experiences up to and including completion of PhD programs.

Why You ! understands aiding individuals in their journey to success necessitates developing enduring relationships. These sustainable relationships lead to more diverse, professional and productive communities reflective of America at her best.

Review for Diversity Council, Rochester, MN, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am amazed a the DIversity Council's consistent presence in the community through special exhibits, schools, and professional forums. They constantly refresh and build on thier services they provide. Not only do they believe in inclusion and diversity their organization is living tesetimony of putting their beliefs into action. Their edcuation on race and diversity issues is now being delivered to the business and legislative leaders in our community. Their leadership and collaborative efforts with other profit and non-profit organizations in the community made it possible for the RACE Exhibit to be brought to Rochester. Their In addtion, their staff truly represents the faces of the community. The Diveristy Council truly puts their belifs into action.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the open mindedness and willingness to engage in open dialogue around senstive issues previoulsy thought as taboo topics in the community.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

provide them with the necessary resources to expand the capacity and availability of thier services.
