I had the incredible opportunity of working with the HandReach organization in Beijing, China. We worked with an incredible team who provided a wide range of clinical services to children with burn injuries. It was overall a unique and fulfilling experience. I had the opportunity to present scientific research at a clinical conference as well as participate in the clinical interventions in the hospital. Our team provided therapeutic drumming as a subset of psychosocial services being offered to the children. We had a great time and the patients and staff greatly appreciated our presence.
