Review for Mazie Mentoring Program, Framingham, MA, USA
I have been a volunteer for about 6 months. The program is truly first rate. We were given excellent training, especially in terms of what to expect. On key aspect of the program is that the mentees have to demonstrate through the application process that they are willing and ready to put in the time and effort necessary to be successful. In my personal experience, I am working with a teen knows that he has work to do to catch up academically, but is putting in some effort, even over the summer to catch up.
