Review for Fight Colorectal Cancer, Alexandria, VA, USA
Fight Colorectal Cancer was brought to my attention when I was seeking a non-profit cancer organization to raise money for in celebration of my 5 year colon cancer free anniversary. I did a lot of research to find Fight Colorectal Cancer to be exactly what I was looking for. Their mission, research, what they do for patients and educate those associated with colon cancer.
I reached out to Fight Colorectal Cancer to inform them of my desire to raise funds in celebration of my anniversary. Speaking with Ben Basloe, Director of Developement assisted with everything I needed to get my fundraiser off the ground. We spoke or sent emails regularly throwing ideas and thoughts along with setting up a fundraising page. His expertise along with his understanding to my "Booty Shaking Celebration" Event ideas... we were the perfect team. Anything I needed from them, he supplied and then some. The event was a huge success and I was pleased to have raised as much money as I did.
After my event, I actually considered doing this every year... which I'm still thinking about. Yes, it is a lot of work putting together an event, but the pleasure of working with great people at Fight Colorectal Cancer makes it all the more enjoyable!!

Becoming aware of their motivation to help fight colon cancer. Their website is so very helpful to patients and families touched by colon cancer. I continue to use the site and forward to those in need of becoming informative to this nasty cancer.
