The Link to Children is a wonderful organization that provides a most needed early childhood mental health services to the diverse communities in Alameda County. TLC also provides individual, family and dyadic therapy to victims of violence.
I am fortunate to have been involved with TLC for many years and have seen positive changes in teachers, administrators, parents and children.
I am impressed by TLC's commitment to be culturally accountable in serving children and their families.

Personally I have seen results in the work that clinicians have done with recent immigrant families. Clinicians create a safe space for the parents to bring their concerns and help them address the emotional needs of their children.

Increase the number of staff, interns and volunteers to serve more childcare centers. Increase the language/ cultural capacity of the staff to extend the services to other communities.
