Review for Sturgis Center For The Arts Inc, Sturgis, SD, USA

Rating: 5 stars

We have been so thankful for the Sturgis Center for the Arts. It has been a tremendous source for a variety of music lessons as well as a variety of art projects. My oldest daughter loves going there after school. They have also provided her with opportunities to use her music skills in the community. She's gotten the opportunity to play piano at various nursing homes in our community, as well as at a Holiday Open House that is held at our Community Center. Those experiences have been wonderful confidence builders for her. Everyone is so kind and helpful and they really try to help her reach her full artistic potential. They have been a great addition to our community! I cannot imagine our community without them!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

helping to develop confidence and character building in the youth of our community.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Their sincerity in wanting to help bring the arts and music to the people of Sturgis.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Very caring and kind, as well as encouraging to the kids.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Offer boatloads of music lessons to lots of kids who would probably participate if there was more funding available.

Ways to make it better...

A written notice when kids are going to be going and playing at different locations in the community. My daughter always forgets to tell me, and I never find out until the day of the event!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Enough volunteers and funding.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I have been very impressed with the wide variety of community events that you are sponsoring and trying to get the community involved in. Kudos to you!!!!!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
