Review for Homework Hotline, Nashville, TN, USA

Rating: 5 stars

5 stars! This is an incredible non profit organization. As a volunteer, I was able to see first hand the difference this organization is making in the lives of school children in Middle Tennessee. The phone rings non stop with math problems, science problems, reading and writing from children who may not have a parent at home to assist with homework. We even get calls from parents who need help! Homework Hotline provides free tutoring (not answer giving!) to children who need help outside of the classroom. I am proud to support this organization and know they are truly making a difference one child at a time.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The children I have spoken with having a better understanding of homework after our one on one tutor conversation.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Feel as though I was truly making a contribution to our community and making a difference in the life of children.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Helping children and getting to know the other volunteers and teachers.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Friendly, smart, energetic and fun.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

buy lots of phones/pay more teachers and help more children!

Ways to make it better...

More volunteers needed! The phones ring like crazy!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Needs more volunteers/metro teachers/more phones!

One thing I'd also say is that...

I LOVE HOMEWORK HOTLINE!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
