Review for Haitian Health Foundation, Inc., Norwich, CT, USA
I've helped to load their quarterly containers with food, medicine and building supplies for Haiti for many years and I am so impressed with the staff at the Haitian Health Foundation in Norwich, CT. Their care and concern for the poor of Haiti is genuine and what they have accomplished in 25 years in Haiti is amazing. Their facilities in Jeremie, Haiti employ 170 people, mostly Haitians, and they see hundreds of people a day both in the clinic and in the villages that they visit because they are a distance away. Their progress record in treating illnesses is very impressive -- all documented. I am privileged to be able to help in a small way.

the growth of the organization from a small clinic to a multi-facility operation consisting of medical care, eye care, a hospital, a school, Akamil food processing plants, etc.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
give them some of the money that was donated for earthquake relief last year and is sitting in the coffers of larger organizations that have not achieved anywhere near the results that the Haitian Health Foundation has been able to achieve in the past year.
