Review for Nursing Mothers Counsel, Palo Alto, CA, USA
I attended a Nursing Mothers Counsel breastfeeding class after I had my first baby (now 23 months old). The class was helpful, but the e-mail communication after the class between Gretchen, one of the volunteers, and I was superb. She was honest, caring and gave real examples rather than cookie cutter responses that I received from other organizations. She even followed up to see how I was doing awhile after our last conversation.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
The class I attended was apparently for pregnant women which I did not realize (though I still gained a information from it). I recommend a universal class or a class for postpartum women too. These may exist; I am not sure.
