Review for The PEPY Ride, Briarcliff Manor, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Over the past five years I have been a part the The PEPY Ride in nearly every capacity starting as a tour participant and today serving as a member of the board of directors. At every point in my journey with the organization I have been impressed with the work being done but more than that I have been impressed by the unyielding desire to constantly learn from their mistakes and do whatever necessary to make sure positive changes are realized.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The effects on the communities they work in, the staff which runs the organization, and the participants who join trips. Basically everyone who is directly or indirectly affiliated with the organization.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

None

Role:  Board Member & My prime responsibilities with The PEPY Ride centered on leading their educational tours.

Review for The PEPY Ride, Briarcliff Manor, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I learned about PEPY through fundraisers while I was teaching English in Japan. Every experience I had from the moment I first stepped foot in Cambodia through my most recent visit far surpassed my expectations. PEPY has evolved over the past few years, identified its mistakes and changed for the better. I am amazed by the impact of the trips and progress of the programs they have undertaken. I couldnt recommend the PEPY Ride more to anyone interested.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

its impact on its volunteers, the students at its schools and their families, as well as their Cambodian staff.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

give it to Daniela Papi to run.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

everything that I have learned and everyone I have met. Being a part of overcoming challenges and seeing results even on a small scale.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

openminded and flexible.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

provide clean water to people all over SE Asia, reform Cambodia's educational system.

Ways to make it better...

I could have stayed longer.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

coping with its growth

One thing I'd also say is that...

thank you
