Review for United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Central Florida, Inc., Orlando, FL, USA
I have supported UCP for over eight years as a stage technician, production manger and producer of their annual fundraising gala. I am continually amazed at the quality of organization as well as quality of results produced by UCP. During the past two years they have raised millions of dollars in order to build one of the countries finest experimental 'all inclusive' schools. They have incredible results like Gina Incandela who at two was a non-speaking autistic child, and now sings the National Anthem at Orlando Magic games!!!! And she is just one of the many, many, many success stories. I love that they incorporate music and art into their curriculum. I love the one on one work they do. I LOVE UCP!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I do not have a family member who used UCP. I've been involved through Walt Disney World's support and ultimately as a personal passion.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Hire a consultant to assist them with their growth. They are no longer a "mom & pop" level business and they need to make the leap to a larger business structure so they can continue to grow without collapsing because they don't have the infrastructure they need.

Introduce the volunteers to the kids they are helping. Or have a picnic like event that would include UCP families and volunteers.
