Review for Jeffrey's Voice, Inc., Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, USA
I will never forget the day I met Jeffrey and Brian Horne. They were 17 and 15 years old. They were energetic young boys and just full of life. We were at the beach and my husband recognized their parents, Claude and Nancy. We had a great time together reminiscencing about our days at UGA, while Jeffrey and Brian enjoyed the day. A few short years later, I received an email that Nancy and Claude had lost Jeffrey at the age of 20 to Acute Mylogenous Leukemia. Five months later, I received another email that Brian had died of acute respiratoy failure and sudden cardiac arrest. My heart was broken for our friends. A year later Nancy founded Jeffrey's Voice. As I serve on this board, I remember the beautiful day we shared together with her family and I work with her to help find a cure for leukemia and other blood disorders.
