Review for Globalcures Inc, Newton, MA, USA
I have worked with the fine folks at Global Cures for the last four years and they have been a very fulfilling four years indeed. Global Cures is a cause dedicated to finding cures and solutions to the cancer problem that we face today. They achieve this not just through medical research but by developing relationships with experts from the various different fields necessary to make change happen: Lawyers, economists, business owners, scientists and survivors and victims' families. I fall into the last category. My father died from brain cancer three years ago and I have been organizing a charity run every year in my home town to raise money for Global Cures, an organization in which my father had the greatest trust. My Dad knew that in order for real change to happen and if there was ever going to be a cure that it would need to come from a group with the foresight to carry it through to the end. Global Cures has that foresight.
Vikas and Vidula Sukhatme are the founders of Global Cures and they are incredibly intelligent and kind. Their dedication is palpable and their support of our annual race has been indefatigable. They are, in ervery sense of the word, a GREAT nonprofit.
