Review for Fight Colorectal Cancer, Alexandria, VA, USA
Fight Colorectal Cancer is a truly remarkable organization doing a whole lot with limited resources. In addition to educating patients on their options as well as advancements in the field through emails and webinars, the organization allows interested patients and related parties to lobby their elected representatives both via designated Call-on-Congress days as well as an annual trip to Washington DC. The organization also helps administer the Lisa Fund, a $30,000 annual grant for colorectal cancer researchers.
I am truly impressed and inspired by what the organization has been able to accomplish in its first five years and cannot imagine the impact that it will be able to have as its notoriety and resources increase.

having the opportunity to present the grant awards to selected researches each of the past five years and watching how their research inspires and affects those afflicted with colorectal cancer.

get them more staff and more resources because they've proved that they can maximize whatever they're given.
