GlobalCures represents the best in philanthropic endeavors. Utilizing already approved drugs for new indications, frequently in combination with other approved medications, has been shown to result in dramatic shrinkage of drug-resistant malignancies. The cost savings to individuals and insurance companies is enormous since the drugs used are off patent and therefore the total cost is markedly reduced. Providing such drugs to the indigent with difficult-to-treat malignancies who have little to no insurance, and cannot afford current chemotherapeutic agents is a blessing to those in need. Ongoing trials are needed to explore additional benefits of new combinations of agents. The pharmaceutical companies in the U.S. have been reluctant to participate or conduct such trials because the medications are off patent (and their financial incentive is greatly reduced). So GlobalCures-Inc has stepped into the void to bring these old-new combinations to the investigative arena. They are to be applauded for their commitment to improving care for our society.
