Review for Ovarian Cancer Symptom Awareness Organization , Chicago, IL, USA
OCSA is a relatively young charity, but in my opinion, is one that really seeks to make a difference, a real difference, by providing necessary information to women regarding the symptoms of ovarian cancer. I am the only survivor of my nuclear family; both parents and my brother died of cancer, unsuccessfully treated. Ovarian cancer, if caught in the early stages, is treatable, and OCSA seeks to disseminate information in order to promote earlier diagnosis.
Funding for research is equally important, but the efforts expended by OCSA members to educate women about the very subtle symptoms of ovarian cancer are phenomenal.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
learning and having the ability to pass on information regarding the symptoms of ovarian cancer, and the importance in early diagnosis.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Enable the charity to involve more members in order to increase funding and expand its mission.
