Global Cures is a unique organization whose goal is to make a difference in the treatment and cure of cancer. The organization seeks to develop treatment protocols and conduct phase I & II trials that will not be undertaken by for-profit companies despite their therapeutic promise. There is a significant body of medical research that suggests many promising protocols that include a combination of drugs already approved by the FDA as well as those are no longer under patent protection. The objective of the organization is to raise enough money to support such investigations so that cancer patients can benefit from these treatments that are falling through the cracks in a market based economy. Another aspect of the organization's efforts are directed towards offering services to cancer patients in the form of information regarding ongoing trials as well as treatments and protocols that are unorthodox and yet may have worked for individual patients.
