Review for Fire Safe Council Of Siskiyou County, Mount Shasta, CA, USA
I saw a grant application for a 10,000 gallon firefighting water tank 1/10th mile from my property. The grant sought thousands of dollars in federal funds. The FSC grant application claimed that no other firefighting water supply was available within 5 miles. Because my spouse and I had, at our own expense, installed and publicized 10,000 gallons of dedicated, gravity fed, public-service firefighting water, we contacted this Fire Safe Council in April 2011 to ask that the local reps review the available system.
No response of any kind was received after numerous follow-up telephone calls and E-mails.
