Review for Bering Omega Community Services, Houston, TX, USA
I have been volunteering at Bering Omega adult treatment center for about 5 months. It is one of the most rewarding and fun volunteer jobs I have ever had. I have been a volunteer in various capacities for organizations in Houston for 30 years and this is one of the best jobs ever. I feel that my time and energy is put to good use and I look forward to going every week. The program is well organized and planned.

I really enjoy encouraging the clients to participate in the activities. It is especially rewarding to see them encourage each other and care for each other. Clients come from a wide variety of backgrounds, so it is interesting to see the different approaches and ideas expressed. They truly are a supportive community as evidenced by the recent death of a client.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Really cannot think of a thing I would change except get them more funding so they can do all of the things they would like to do.
