I love this site and access it regularly. It takes alot of the work out of scouring the internet about news items that relate to vaccine research. Parents need to do their due diligence and research this topic and this site makes it far easier to do just that.

Review for Strays & Others Inc, New Canaan, CT, USA
Stays and Others is a wonderful organization run by a dedicated woman - Claudia Weber. My husband and I adopted a wonderful dog from them a number of years ago. Claudia was very through in making sure our home was a suitable place for Hitch. Hitch was a valuable and beloved member of our family until circumstances made it so he could not remain with us.
It was with a heavy heart that we gave Hitch back to Strays and Others with the promise that they would find him another loving home. Claudia has made good on that promise and Hitch is now living with a wonderful family that loves him as much as we did. In fact I have been in touch with the new owners who allowed me to reunite with Hitch this past spring.
Claudia and the volunteers work very hard to place abandoned animals in loving homes. They clearly love animals and it shows!

Adopting a great dog
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
If I had the means I would donate money so that they could have their own place to keep the dogs. As it is now, they have to rent space at another boarding facility.
Review for Horizons National Student Enrichment Program Inc, Westport, CT, USA
I have been involved with this program one way or another since I was a child. My mother (Lyn McNaught) spent over 30 years as executive director of this program at the New Canaan Country School in New Canaan, CT. I worked there as a counselor as a teenager and Horizons was in integral part of my life until my mother retired. She has gone on to serve on the board of Horizons National as Horizons now has programs all over the United States.
I have seen first hand how this program helps inner city children. It is an opportunity for them to get out of their environment and spend 6 weeks in the summer learning and interacting with others. The academic program is outstanding and children enter school in the fall ahead of their peers (or all caught up if they were behind). They also have the opportunity to swim and do outdoor activities. The friendships they ofen make there can last a lifetime. It is truly unlike any "camp" experience that a child can have.

Vaccination news is an invaluable resource for those interested in educating themselves on both sides of the vaccine controversy. It is difficult as parents to wade through all of the propaganda and get relevant, up to the minute news about this important topic. It takes the hard work out of searching numerous places for information and puts it in 1 place at your fingertips. I hope this website sticks around. I don't know how I would get my information without it!
