Review for Desert AIDS Project, Palm Springs, CA, USA
I have worked as a volunteer for DAP from 1994 to 2006, and 2010 until the present. I am so proud of my work and DAP's work. In 1994 most of my clients died within a year. Recently things are much better, but I have two clients in poor health and two not in great health. The support these client's are given is extremely important including medical, housing, and nutrition support. Without DAP or something quite like it, one of my clients would be homeless and dying.
For the first time since 1994 the medical staff is changing. I am hopeful for a easy transition.

Put Governor Brown's revenue enhancements on the ballot to stop terrible cuts to programs.
Role: Professional with expertise in this field & I work as a "buddy" and social worker giving moral support, advising clients on how to deal with life, and how to maximize receiving health care and benefits.
