I saw a dog get hit by a car. Stopped what i was doing found the owners. They didnt care were afraid they would get in trouble because its on the breed restriction list and they arent allowed to have it where they live. Refused to go to the hospital with me, so I went by myself. Drove over a half hour out of my way to the closest hospital open. When I got there they took the dog into the back. Then I told them what happened, they asked me to fill out paperwork. After I did they looked it over and said oh never mind we can't help you. I said why not? I couldnt afford to pay for the bill and they told me because I lived a county over that the humane society or the aspca wouldn't help the animal. I found the dog a loving home within the next few hours. She died while her new owner stayed up to take care of her. He even tried to rush her back to the hospital when she went into a critical condition. He was too late. The dog died. Isn't your motto something like we turn no animal away? BULLS**T
