Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
The HSUS is little more than PETA in a different skin. They are NOT an umbrella organization for shelters anywhere in the United States.
They do not own and operate any shelters. They have no affiliation with local humane societies that actually help animals.
Less than 1% of your donations to them actually go to animals in need. The rest go to padding executive pension plans and for political lobbying that hurts pet owners.
