I've received unique financial and social services from ASG that are not offered by other HIV+ agencies in the community. At ASG as a client I'm always greeted with a warm small and a hug. ASG intake process just takes a few moments and there are no waiting periods to access their services; for example, rental assistance /utilities assistance, groceries, bus cards, nutritionist, education and empowerment seminars and classes; cabbage and beans (hot home cooked nutritious meal delivered to your door); client advocacy, buddy program, annual client events celebrating mother's day and christmas.

I would raise funding so that ASG Womens Center could be located in a facility where clients can access mental and medical care, social services and housing for the homeless HIV+ woman and her children or grandchildren while aiding them to become independent and productive members of society.
