Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
I gave a lot of money to them during the Katrina Hurricane aftermath. I'm reitred so it was a big gift for me. I saw their pitch add on TV. It showed sad looking cats and dogs and how they needed funds to help save and join the animales with the owners. I fell for it. Of the $500 I donated I foound less than $20 went toward the animal relief - by HSUS records. They only after the State threatened to review the very little originally given. This is from an og that collects over $100,000,000 per year and spends less than one percent on actual animal welfare.

Knew the people would be helped but not sure about the animals.
What would you tell others about this organization?
They are a scam. HSUS is a vegan org, like PETA, that wants to shut down all animal ag in the USA. They spend very little toward animal welfare. Give to your LOCAL animal shelter!!!!
