Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
The HSUS is a poor excuse for a "non-profit" organization. When an organization brings in millions of dollars a year from fundraising and pays there CEO over $100,000 a year, yet donates very little to local shelters, I do not consider them a non-profit. At this point they are just like most other businesses who are out to make money. Many HSUS supporters and/or employees fail to gather any facts before advocating for policies and laws to be passed. If the HSUS can afford to post billboards, pay a social media manager, and hire big time celebrities to advocate for causes that make no sense, then the HSUS should be able to support local shelters and truly help animals in need, rather than fill their own pockets!!!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Policies have been passed because of this organizations' deep pockets. These policies make it difficult for any person involved in agriculture to make a living. Without agriculture.....nobody will survive!!
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Have them actually use their money to help animals rather than throw it around to simply demise the agricultural industry.
