Review for LUMINARI, Pittsburgh, PA, USA
Luminari's "I want to be an Ambassador" program is very unique and has really broadened the horizons of many high school students in the Pittsburgh region. During the course of the program, the students learn about diplomacy and get to travel to Washington, DC. This year they are even meeting with two foreign ambassadors face to face as well as a member of Hillary Clinton's staff.

I've seen the results from last year's "I want to be an Ambassador" program, and know how much planning has gone into this year's program as well as the Teen Writer programs.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Luminari just has to be careful not to take on too much too soon -- right now the staff has done a great job rolling out the existing programs and I would not want the success of the current programs to be jeopardized if Luminari does not have enough time to devote to all ideas. Luminari needs to make sure all of its programs will be successful and horizon broadening-- which I think it has done so far.
