Review for WeSPARK Cancer Support Center, Sherman Oaks, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Over the years I've referred clients to weSPARK knowing that they will be well taken care of. The support groups are wonderful as patients and caregivers find others with similar concerns and share with them. The other services they offer are also very helpful to overstressed cancer patients and their families.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the benefits to my clients -- increased well-being and reduced stress.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months

Review for WeSPARK Cancer Support Center, Sherman Oaks, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

As Guest Services Manager for weSPARK, I have the honor and joy of introducing every new person to a wide variety of services that help reduce stress and promote well-being. At weSPARK, we address the whole person: mind, body and spirit, providing emotional support to people experiencing what may be the most difficult time in their lives. Our environment is non-institutional, warm and welcoming and all of our services are FREE to our guests.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the stories guests tell me about how weSPARK has helped them to heal.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

encourage the creativity of everyone who works here. We are an amazing team!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the joy I feel when I offer someone whose struggling to feel soothed.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

creative, dedicated, loving people.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

serve so many cancer patients and their families. All of our offerings are so nurturing and soothing -- it would be great for everyone to have the opportunity to benefit from them.

Ways to make it better...

I'd known about weSPARK sooner.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

broadening our reach. We would love to provide services to as many people as possible.

One thing I'd also say is that...

at weSPARK we really care about providing the best and most comprehensive mind/body/spirit offerings to help our guest through their cancer journey. It is our passion and pleasure to be of service.
