My name is Jessica. I came to the Mission in Citrus In March of 2010. My husband and I had been living in our van for three months, we hadn't eaten in days. We were both at the end of our ropes and very suicidel. Jim, the director of the Mission took us in and he and the rest of the people of the mission have helped us turn our lives around. I am now a staff member, and have been able to defeat my problems with self mutilation and extream sucidel tendcies. My husband has been able to kick his long fight with addiction of drugs. Not only has this place changed our lives, but has shown us what we want to do with the rest of ours, help the homeless. We our expecting a baby boy within the next month and just moved in to our own home that we are buying. The mission has helped us with obtaining everything we need for our new home and our new baby. I love this place, I love the people, and I love the way we are changing the way people view the homeless.
