Review for Pauline S Schneegas Wildlife Foundation, Silt, CO, USA
A fantastic little place in Western Colorado - Rehabilitates injured & orphaned wildlife, and returns them to their rightful home in the Wild. Totally non-profit, and not funded by any state, government, or federal entity(ies). This place survives solely on donation & grants, and does a fabulous job! This is the only wildlife rehabilitation center in Colorado licensed to work with all species of wildlife, including threatened & endangered. This foundation specializes in bears & mountain lions, but accepts all species! The wildlife center's motto is Conservation through Education, and the Foundation's executive director teaches programs to individuals of all ages, includin preschool to senior groups, and even teaches a wildlife course for the local college.
