Review for WeSPARK Cancer Support Center, Sherman Oaks, CA, USA
I can't begin to thank WeSpark enough for getting me through the most difficult time in my life. Although I had the support of my family, sharing with women facing breast cancer helped me physically and emotionally deal with the diagnosis and treatment. Wendy Jo was my initial contact with WeSpark and she made me feel so welcome and showed a genuine interest in what I was experiencing. The staff was incredible and accommodating. It was a relaxed and caring environment for people facing the biggest challange of their lives. Taking part in the Revlon Run while on chemo is something I never would have done on my own. They encouraged me to participate and that really gave me a morale boost, which is what every cancer patient needs to make it through treatment successfully. I learned to have a positive attitude and to face this monster head on. I'm now a survivor of 7 years and will never forget the loving. caring experince I received at WeSpark.
