Red Dog foundation is an amazing foundation. My family has been traveling to Sloan-kettering for 5 years now. Once My son was off treatment we stopped getting help from all foundations but Red dog for traveling. Financially it has been a strain on us but we have no other choice but to get our son to his Dr. Parking in NYC is crazy. you can't ever find a parking spot on the street. You are forced to park in the garages. It cost so much to park your vehicle there. Parking is our biggest expense. The red dog foundation has helped us financially so much.

This organization has been created after living the most horrific nightmare for seven years. Our brother, who recently passed away from leukemia at the age of 24 was consistently treated at two different NYC hospitals. My parents, who were valiantly by his bedside, including two long stays of 40 days or more during his bone marrow transplant, had to consistently worry about where to park and how much it would cost. The average lot in NYC would cost about $35 a day, which ultimately cost my parent thousands of dollars over the course of his treatment. While spending time in these hospitals, this was a valid concern for all parents and it became clear that something had to be created to help these families. When my brother passed, we created the Red Dog Foundation! In just four short months, we were able to collect over $14,000 and continue to establish great supporters along the way.
