The members of the board and those volunteering for the foundation are wonderful people to work with. They are skilled a passionate about helping children with hearing loss meet their communication expectations. Children with hearing loss in Colorado couldn't ask for a better advocacy group. It's the only foundation in our area that assists families in helping their children learn to listen and produce natural spoken language.

I've been involved with the foundation for over 5 years. It is the only one of it's kind in our region and imperative for families of hearing impaired children. It's goal is to fund families who can not afford therapy to teach their child to use what hearing they have to maximize their spoken language and listening skills. It's amazing what they can accomplish in 5 years! Imagine 5 years of work for a lifetime of independence.......
Review from Guidestar
We moved to Denver 45 years ago so our son, who is profoundly deaf, could enter the Auditory-Verbal therapy program. 41 years ago I helped statrt the Listen Foundation so that others could benefit from the therapy and also learn to listen and speak. He does not need an interpreter, he is very oral and is valued as an employee where he has become proficient at supervising crews that build ponds, waterfalls, patios, etc. He now has two cochlear implants that have made all the difference in the world in how he listens. We are grateful for the program started by Doreen Pollack and now carried on by the Listen Foundation that funds children whose families do not have the financial ability to provide this opportunity for their child. That is why I have been a volunteer or Board member for these many years.
