Researching the charity looking at their 990's, I'm curious to why the CEO made almost $97,000 in 2010 for a $1.1 million dollar organization this is roughly 8.7% of their annual budget. It seems to me this organization doesn't need my money because it will go straight into the CEO's bank.

Impact provides school supplies and backpacks to children who need them without forcing either the children or parents to justify need, classroom mini-grants to teachers with ideas, scholarships, and other assistance to local schools. The prior reviewer who gave the organization 1 star cannot be a volunteer as they state. Were they involved with the organization in any way, they would have at least addressed the impact it has on the majority of school children in the Boulder and St. Vrain school districts. Yes, there was fraud executed by the former bookkeeper, but the organization, under the leadership of the ED who uncovered the fraud within months of hire, a fraud which covered the better part of a decade and was not caught by CPAs during audits, has implemented new policies and controls to detect and prevent this type of fraud from reoccurring. Honest assessment is four stars, very few agencies can qualify as five star, but I felt it necessary to help offset the unhelpful "review" which spoke nothing of the agency and demonstrated no knowledge of either programs or management.
