Mission: Diveheart helps build confidence and independence in children, adults and veterans with disabilities through the sport of scuba diving.
The DIVEHEART VISION: It is our hope to bring the disabled dive industry up to the level of the disabled ski industry by 2020. For example: fifty or more years ago if an individual in a wheelchair rolled up to a ski resort in Colorado and wanted to downhill ski, there were no opportunities. Today, many ski resorts and operators around the world cater to skiers with disabilities, giving them the opportunity to experience the excitement of Alpine skiing. We believe that as individuals with disabilities discover that scuba diving is an activity that they can easily participate in, the tide will rise and the growing demand will necessitate that dive retailers, manufacturers, instructors, operators and resorts recognize and meet the need.
My family has been involved with Diveheart since 2013 when my then 13 year old son wanted to raise money for full face masks to help make diving easier for individuals with certain types of disabilities. Since then our family has fundraised, volunteered and my son has been trained to dive with disabled divers. It is an awesome and fulfilling experience and as awesome as it is for someone with a disability to scuba dive it is even more awesome to share the experience with them. Diveheart is about what you CAN do and we feel blessed as a family to be able to share our support and experiences with these awesome people. Diveheart is.....♥️♥️♥️

A nonprofit dedicated to veterans and disabled individuals with a heart of gold. I have personally witnessed the impact of their programs, seen the beautiful smiles of the participants and heard their compelling testimonials about how Diveheart has changed their life. I love to see Diveheart's dedication to this mission. I highly recommend this nonprofit.
Jim and his team are working incredibly hard to build this unique experience. The developments have taken a great deal of time and energy to get where they are today and the aspirations run much higher. I have had a chance to work close with Jim on his plans and see the efforts being made. The joy this group feels for the opportunities they are bringing to new people is amazing. I am proud to know Jim and look forward to working closer with this group in the years ahead.
