Mission: Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) helps people of all ages and backgrounds overcome emotional, physical, social, and cognitive challenges so they can lead their best lives. Founded in 1943, it has grown to be the largest provider of licensed outpatient community mental health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester county. We provide state-of-the-art programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds throughout Westchester. Our highly trained staff provide evidence-based mental health and trauma treatment to adults and children in individual and group settings, 24/7 care to disabled adults living in our thirteen group homes, supportive programming for LGBTQ+ youth, geriatric care and resources to seniors so they can age safely in the comfort of their homes, early childhood development enrichment education for young children and their parents, advocacy, supportive services, and social activities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and cultural, educational, counseling, and spiritual programming for the Jewish community.
