Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Education, Educational Services

Mission: We seek to provide to early childhood educational programs free or very low cost Tools of Learning, including phonetic, musical and mathematical instruments that allow even the most vulnerable children to get started on success.

Results: Our impact has been impressive. Many children and families have found themselves to be so much more advanced than other children that schools don't know what to do with them! Which is a great incentive for more people to be involved. Ask us at ToolsofLearning@gmail.com for more info. All programs serving vulnerable children can qualify for FREE or low-cost supplies and materials (in accordancw with our annual fundraising successes).

Target demographics: We make available reading, math and learning support to children and families ages 3 to 5 as they geat ready for a lifetime of learning in schools of all types.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 2000+

Geographic areas served: Home area: Solano County, Northern Bay Area, but we serve programs without charge across the country.

Programs: We make Frontline Phonics and (soon) innovative early math learning tools that reward young people and their families through preschools, childcare settings, Head Start programs, etc.

I am a recently retired teacher [apx.30 years] one day while searching the net for ways to reinvent myself into a position to get back to a life with purpose and passion I came across Murray Bass's article..."Find purpose in your life after retirement"...in The Daily Republic I was truely engaged and so called Batty in CA....I live in N.J....He called Roger Boswarva at his organization thelearningcurveradioshow.com in N.Y. on my behalf...since then Roger has contacted me and we are going to have a phone conference to see how I contribute to this organizatiom...The Learning Curve a new teaching/learning philosophy for teachers...students and parents this would not have been possible without Barry and his passion to help others, thank yoi, Bill P.

"Tools for Learning for Children" has been invaluable to our preschool. Murray Bass works hard to obtain funding to provide us and many other schools the "Frontline Phonics" program. "Frontline Phonics" is part of our core curriculum in teaching the children that are in our pre-K program. Honestly without the help from Murray Bass / Tools for Learning I don't think we could afford to use the "Frontline Phonics" program. Our hats are off to Murray Bass and his team.
