I can’t say enough about the dragonfly foundation. Being a dragonfly family they have done so much for our family in our darkest days. They helped us see the light through the darkness through support, events, gifts, beautiful cards and a place to land like the landing. A smile on my grandchild means the world and I can’t say thank you enough. To all the volunteers who work tremendously hard day and night to help make magic happen for so many kids and their families and our family thank you we love you and all you do each and everyday =|=

The Dragonfly Foundation makes my heart smile. They show nothing but love and kindness to their Dragonflies. They make the kids feel like kids again; the parents feel like parents again. When I was diagnosed with cancer, I didn't have anything to make me feel normal again, nothing to take my mind off of what I was going through. Now I am so thankful that Dragonfly exists to help kids never have to feel what I felt, which was alone. I am now a proud intern for Dragonfly and I couldn't be any happier. GO DRAGONFLY!

The Dragonfly Foundation provides fun distractions for children while they are undergoing treatment for cancer or bone marrow transplants. During the most gloomy days, The Dragonfly Foundation will surprise children with toys or books, specifically to the childs' liking. When a child can be out in public, The Dragonfly Foundation will send the child and their families to baseball games, to the circus, to an amusement park, to a local theatre to watch movies, and more! The Dragonfly Foundation has provided laptops for Cincinnati Children's Hospitals Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute so the older children and continue with school work or chat with friends via the internet. They want to make this horrible time in a childs life, less chaotic. What other organization wants to help the patient AND their family! They truly want to provide CARE while waiting for a cure.

Amazing organization which provides patients and families with some much needed distractions from the diseases they are fighting. Volunteers can donate their time in small chunks or large. They are very appreciative of any donation no matter how small. Well organized and growing by leaps and bounds.

So dedicated to the protection of their Dragonfly families that you may not get to interact with the patients. Of course this is for the protection of the children. They are dealing with so much and are in such a fragile state that The Dragonfly Foundation is very cautious with everything.

When my son became a Dragonfly, we were 2 years into his treatment of chemotherapy and high dose steroids. He is still in treatment. I don't think my family would have had the strength to keep going had the Dragonfly Foundation not swooped in and lifted us up with encouragement, distractions, and support. When no one else understands. they do. My children love going to The Landing (the Dragonfly Foundation family center). Our first event was the Fall Family Festival there and the joy in my children's faces was priceless. I hadn't seen any of them that happy and relaxed in years. That is why I love Dragonfly!
