Mission: Founded in 1985, PCI-Media Impact creates a healthier, more just, and sustainable world using the power of storytelling and community.
Results: With the help of our partners, we have produced over 7,000 episodes of 150 different award-winning productions—reaching more than 1 billion people in over 70 countries in the last 35 years.
Target demographics: For over 35 years, PCI Media Impact has led the Entertainment-Education (E-E) field. Our programs and productions have inspired and empowered communities around the world through storytelling and creative communications.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Each year, PCI Media trains hundreds of community leaders, non-profit managers, government officials and broadcasters in our social change communications methodology.
Geographic areas served: Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America and the U.S.A.
Programs: We have experience in nearly 70 countries producing television series, radio dramas, music videos and many other innovative media products that address the world’s most pressing issues. Our programs have increased knowledge and changed attitudes about issues ranging from violence against women and HIV/AIDS prevention to sustainable development and wildlife conservation.
