Endangered Species International is an amazing group that really gets things done out in the field. I applaud their effort and hard work to save endangered animals and their home! Most fund is spent on the field for direct impacts..no wasting resources!
Great strategy and measurable impacts to save endangered species. Please join ESI. Great work with reforestation of rainforest as well.
I feel much confident to give to Endangered Species International than other charity groups for the simple reason that less than 2 percent is spent for administrative and fundraising purposes.
I helped in designing educational and awareness materials on endangered species. I am so excited to know that my contribution will have some impacts on kids. Proffesional and friendly staff too.
Great experience, fun, and really worth the cause. I was volunteer for the ocean and coral reef program in the coral triangle.
I agree with previous reviewers, ESI's website provides very good information on endangered species. No other charities in similar field have quality information like ESI, just check WWF, CI, wildaid, and many others and compare. It is a great tool for education and awareness. Great work too in schools.
ESI spend 98 % on the ground to save endangered species and habitats. Further, ESI does not waste resources like WWF and greenpeace in sending junk mails all the time. Great charity!
Top charity that needs more support. They have dedicated staff and volunteers that make this charity very valuable for nature conservation and a real voice for wildlife.
I am a teacher and my students used a great deal of accurate and reliable information on endangered species. ESI website is a great tool for learning too and it is free. I feel very confident that financial help they receive is well-spent.
I love Endangered Species International and their projects. I wish i had more time to help on the ground. I spend 2 months participating in protecting coral reefs in the coral triangle. Creating more marine protected areas is one of the goals of ESI.
I am a donor since 2011 and quite happy with their work to save endangered frogs, primates, and fish.
Great charity spending most of their time and resources in the field where conservation of habitat and threatened species are much needed.
Endangered Species are vanishing fast and we can't count on government to save them..I am a donor and I hop i can support more next year..Thank you for doing the hard work of protecting nature...
So sad to know that wild gorillas are poached for meat..I wll join Endangered Species International...
I can't believe that gorillas are still hunted for the meat! Thanks Endangered Species International for doing the hard work to stop that!
I helped with educational materials for awareness and education activities. I visited schools and got so much good energy from children and their interests in protecting endangered species.
ESI conducts a brilliant combination many effective work at the grassroots level to save endangered species . I will continue to support them.
I volunteered for 3 charities before including Endangered Species International. I am impressed by the dedication and strong ethics of ESI. They even try to use only solar energy in all their field activities. Most important is that their project are concrete and well integrated in local communities.
No "free" gifts are sent to you, no marketing papers are sent to you, their efficiency is keep to the maximum for field activities. Endangered Species International is truly environmental and wildlife charity.
It is my second year I am a donor to Endangered Species International. Some other wildlife organizations are too big (WWF) and my donation works better with a charity that has strong field projects. ESI newsletter is good too.
Great updated information on endangered species. ESI website has information so useful for school projects. I love the pages on coral reefs. I learned a lot. Thank you for sharing knowledge and experience. Marie
Realy dedicated staff. ESI Congolese team works in very hard remote areas in the rainforest of Congo to save endangered gorillas. They have to face malaria and ebola threats. Weather conditions are difficult as well, humid, hot, heavy rain. Saving gorillas from illegal hunting is a very difficult job that requires a lot of dedication and passion for endangered species. Bravo to Endangered Species International!
Thank you to ESI for sharing so much information on endangered species. It really helped our school project activity. We also organized a fundraising for ESI for gorillas and elephants in Africa. I am 12 years old and hope to work for an organization like ESI when i get older. Thank you
There are many good charities and Endangered Species International is one of them. I volunteered for 4 in the past and ESI is one of the most challenging and rewarding one. I had a true contact with local community and saw the long and strong process of saving rainforest and animals.
98% of all donations go toward saving species & places! it is much better than WWF or Conservation International.
The website has a lot information on gorillas. I used it for my school project and it was very useful. My teacher recommended us to visit ESI website for reliable information. Thank you for providing free documents on endangered species.
Please join ESI, wild gorillas, elephants, and many other endangered animals need your help too! I love all the information on their website about endangered species. Great help for my project.
I volunteered and enjoyed it so much! I have learned a great deal but more important projects are strong and have a great impact on the ground. I highly recommend Endangered Species International.
I am amazed about the dedication of staff and volunteers. The president of Endangered Species International spent as much time as local staff in knowing all field project for maximum success. I am impressed by the way of working, quite usual for a charity group.
I am happy to be a donor as Endangered Species International is one of the best charity I studies and compared. I like the fact that they protect endangered frogs and other animals that are not in the radar of other groups..
Endangered Species International is doing a fantastic job to protect endangered species and habitats in very difficult conditions like in remote parts of Congo or Philippines. Great vision and great projects..I encourage anybody to join ESI!
15 years working for conservation and I can easily say that Endangered Species International is a great group doing effective work where it is so urgently needed (rainforest, coral reef..etc).
Endangered Species International has many strengths, but an important one is that staff and volunteers are mostly on the ground knowing the real issues and challenges. Decisions are made from the ground. I can assure that the money spend by ESI is really worth and do better than other charities I have experienced!
A devoted organization with not just a kind heart towards natures and endangered animals but also practice each of their project plan effectively and efficiently. When they are finding ways to improve or implementing their plans to let indigenous people to coexist with their local nature, they always take whatever ideas that don't impact both the nature and the people into account. That's not a easy task but with their passion towards preserving the diversity of ecosystem they manage to overcome whatever difficulty is. Have one more person to care about mother earth is equally to have one more chance for any species to exist.
I am a regular donor and I will keep support Endangered Species International (ESI). The most important for me is to see that my donation works directly on the ground and knowing how ESI operates, donations are not wasted in big offices and fundraising activities.
I have a friend who volunteered for Endangered Species International and he loved it. He helped the endangered tarsier in the Philippines. Since I am too busy I donate and hope i can help in the field next year.
We need a charity like Endangered Species International, with strong influence and cooperation on the ground to save declining diversity....Great work with gorillas and elephants..
ESI coral reef project is well conducted with local community being trained and fully involved to save corals too. I helped in giving presentations on coral reefs and preserving the ocean. We also conducted field trips. It was great fun and happy to contribute to help ocean and sea life.
I was a highschool student and ESI helped me gathered information for my projects. Then i run an fundraising event with my friends to help them because they helped me and they are doing a work in saving endangered animals and rainforest. Thank you!
I helped Endangered Species International to save endangered frogs..ESI has concrete projects with a good vision. Staff are really dedicated and passionate.
Great work with gorillas! i am impressed! I hope more people will support Endangered Species International
I learned a lot about coral reefs and endangered species on their website. ESI has a great deal of updated information for free. I used some of the info for teaching. The staff was very kind in responding to all my queries. Thank you for your time and great work.
Happy to give again to Endangered Species International this yea. Great work to save endangered animals and a very different approach than many other charities. Very open minded and working closely with local communities to get the job done! I love the fact that they have strong ethics, not really the same with other similar charities like Conservation International for example....
Passionate and skilled people work at Endangered Species International. Field projects are great! I love the one which protect coral reefs with local fishermen.
Hard working people in the field, and most important 98 percent of ESI budget goes into field project to save endangered species and wild habitats
great staff! i love the fact they work with indigenous people and really help them....keep up the good work!
I participated in the education activities to stop destroying coral reefs in Southeast Asia. My experience was fantastic and rich in human experience. I understand better the issues related to coral reefs and was happy to see the great feedback from the local community! Join Endangered Species International they are doing an amazing job...
We planted hundreds trees this year and this is the only charity that i worked with that actually spending time monitoring their tree planting to restore natural forest. Great team too and very friendly community. A great cause to support to my humble opinion.
As a donor to Endangered Species International I visited one of the field site where ESI has a project. I was very impressed by the community involvement. People involved in the project were all dedicated and worked long hours including week-end to protect biodiversity, plant trees, and train people. I really value honestly within NGOs and ESI has been the most honest one that I helped. I will continue to donate and support Endangered Species International for years to come.
I worked with Endangered Species International (ESI) for a project to provide protection of rainforest and providing suistanailble alternatives for the local tribe. ESI is a very transparent and genuine organization. Having work for WWF in the past, I must say that for many good reasons (more efficient, no political games, transparent, passion to save biodiversity..), ESI is a very good charity. It made me happy to work with them for nature...
Review from Guidestar
I joined ESI for s while and i was impressed how they conduct activities. It is amazing to see that donations are really put in good use for endangered aninals, save wild habitat, and help poor communities. They spend less than 1 percent of the budget for administrative and fundraising tasks! I love this charity and they are not corrupted!
