Zaenahs Blanket Foundation

What is there to be said here? Zaenah's Blanket Foundation has established itself as one of the leading organizations in the area of newborn care and child welfare. ZBF always stands at the ready and is quick to respond at a moment's notice when there is a family in need. From blankets, to books, to toys, and food, ZBF moves swiftly to ensure a family has what it needs when it is time to bring their newborn baby home. The mission mantra is "...wrapping children in love 1 blanket at a time" and the organization lives up to that creed. Meeting the needs of newborns is not an easy task but ZBF is up to the challenge. Not resting on its laurels, ZBF incorporated infant and child CPR as a major part of its service to the community. Understanding that there are differences between adult and child cpr can prove to be a lifeline for a child in distress, and giving caregivers this knowledge can serve as calming force in a time of crisis. While I personally have not needed the services of ZBF, I have certainly seen the organization in action. I hope to see them continue to grow and provide their services for years to come.

Zaenahs Blanket Foundation provides a great service to the community both through the services it provides directly and also for the opportunities it provides to others to give. As a volunteer at several community events, it has been heartwarming to see families connected with items they need. Individuals who wish to donate can be assured that their donations directly benefit those who need them.

"Every charitable act is a stepping stone towards heaven." Henry Ward Beecher. If this is true, then Joshlyn Perry Aughburns and the members of ZBF will truly enter the gates of heaven. I have seen the smiles and the sense of relief on the faces of the community that ZBF has served. ZBF's dedication to reduce the infant mortality rate by donating the basic essentials such as blankets, bottles and layette sets, to providing free or low cost CPR classes to families and the community helps ZBF earn a place in heaven.

Zaenahs Blanket Foundation is a jewel. They provide so much for parents in need. This organization is truly a community pillar. Their local events bring the community together while allowing them access to information and needed resources. Giving to those in need has never been done with so much love.

A friend of mine had a house fire and in a few days the great people at Zaenahs blanket came to me with bags of clothing and gifts. They even send her gift cards so she can rebuild her home. Thanks for the help Zaenahs Blanket.

I am excited to share my experience with Zeanah's Blanket with you. I have watched the community embrace the gifts that have been offered through this foundation. As a volunteer I have delivered gifts to mothers of newborns on Christmas Day, the gratitude is overwhelming. Zeanah's Blanket Foundation's founder has struggled to make this work meaningful. Through community donations and fund raisers she has been able to deliver much needed baby clothes as well as other resources to needed families. It would be wonderful to see the mission of Zeanah's Blanket Foundation, to develop and enhance the lives of families through much needed services come to fruition.

Zaenahs Blanket Foundation has been a Reliable Resource for supporting families. From NYC to Atlanta and beyond the Foundation sets no limit to reach needed families. As an active volunteer in diverse communities I can attest that Zaenahs Blanket Foundation tremendously services and uplifts those in need.

This foundation is always striving to help others. It's wonderful to see the gratitude and smiles from the families being helped. Joshlyn is always present in her community as well as other communities throughout the United States.

I love to donate to an organization that works hard to get the stuff in to the hands of those that need it. I want to know my stuff is being used again for those who truly need it. Joshlyn Perry-Anghburns Goes out of her way to come and collect stuff and is so easy communicate with.

Joshlyn Perry-Anghburns gives selflessly and tirelessly to an amazing foundation which she created. What better way to give back than to help not only those less fortunate, but by helping the most innocent in the world, babies. Zaenahs Blanket Foundation rocks!!

Zaenahs Blanket Foundation has made a difference for many of our families at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center and is an awesome organization to work with. Lincoln Hospital is located in a poor underserved South Bronx community and when you place a call to Joshlyn and explain the needs of your patients she will gather them and go above and beyond even if it means making a house call. I love working with them and this organization helps me accomplish one of my duties as a Child Life Specialist which is to advocate for the needs of my patients.
